THE CLINIC

  • If you do not see an appointment option for the hours you need, ASK ABOUT THE PRO CLINIC.

The school's clinic is working on opening more hours to the public and supporting graduates as they advance into the medicine and complete their licensure. Ask about our professional clinic as we invite graduates, and local professionals into our space to further enhance the school's educational setting, fill out clinic hours, and meet our community's needs for appointment scheduling.

  • Your body is powerful and naturally filled with the ability to engage a process for healing dis-ease and imbalance. Acupuncture encourages your body’s healing processes to engage and ‘points the way’.

Acupuncture, as a proven, accepted healing technique, seeks to invite the return of balance to your system through the insertion of hair-thin needles into specific, documented, studied-for-thousands-of-years points on your body, to clear/open the pathways within you where your energy (lifeforce) should be passing through meridians and channels as a continuous flow. Your lifeforce’s stagnation, or flow, will directly effect the state of your body and mind.

If you are a New Patient, your very first appointment with us will be $50.00.

  • We can do so much with our hands. We don’t have to use needles.

Our bodywork (tuina) is medicinal and tempered in the foundations of Chinese medicine and its theories of flow and balance. Bodywork is often employed for helping with chronic pain states, musculoskeletal conditions, and stress-related disorders. It is well suited for neck pain, shoulder pain, back pain, sciatica, sports injuries, joint pains - this list could go on for a long long long time.

Because tuina can improve and restore the flow of your lifeforce, treatments will often impact your body as a whole. Because when the flow of energy in your body is opened up or improved, your body will work to balance naturally.

Headaches, constipation, premenstrual symptoms, and even emotional problems may be effectively addressed with tuina. Post-treatment experiences may include feelings of sleepiness or euphoria as energy spreads and soothes into areas of your body.

If you are a New Patient, your very first appointment with us will be $50.00.

  • Hundreds of Chinese herbs are used in countless combinations to concoct medicinal formulas in Chinese medicine.

Chinese herbal medicine has passed through a centuries-long filter: an erosion of signs, symptoms, formulas, and results to arrive at the highly refined and documented practice of Chinese herbology today. In our clinic, we stock hundreds of herbal varietals to completely customize a formula, and/or tailor classic formulas for individual needs - and we carry many traditional Chinese patent formulas in pill form. Our raw herbs find their way into teas, foods, poultices, salves, ointments … you name it.

Chinese herbs seek the cause, the “root” as well as its symptoms, the “branches”. Herbal prescriptions are generally given as a complimentary aspect of a treatment plan.

In Chinese medicine we want a treatment approach to address both issues (root and branch), predictably if possible. To treat both, a single formula will often not suffice. You might need to return for a second formula. Your treatment plan may also require time spent with acupuncture and/or tuina. Many times an issue will not present itself fully. Most discomforts are layered. Dis-ease is constructed in intricate patterns and layers before symptoms arrive on the surface (the body). To alleviate dis-ease, we need the same patience we used in layering dis-ease to bring it back to its foundation of health. Realized or not, we do set our bodies and emotions into positions which incubate discomfort; accepting this fact is a large piece in the puzzle of recovering the power in our own personal health care.

For custom formulas, we use the absolute best US grown herbs we can source. A bit on that here: Herbal Standards.

If you are interested in engaging in an herbal consult, be sure to ask about pricing with any formula prescription.

If you are a New Patient, your very first appointment with us will be $50.00.

  • WOW!

Almost all the systems of your body can be mapped to, and treated on, your ear. That’s what this is. We treat your ear and impact your health. It’s wild, and wildly popular.

Auriculotherapy (treatment focused on the ear) is a common treatment-type in traditional Chinese medicine. You can engage it to treat and EVEN PREVENT common conditions as deep and societally prevalent as chronic pain, anxiety, insomnia, nausea, addiction and substance abuse, gynecological concerns, and digestive disorders or discomfort.

We use ear seeds and sometimes tiny needles.

Take it from Dr. Nguyen, “The ear seed is like an acupuncture needle [but it's totally not] that you use to stimulate a channel to help the patient’s condition without needing to puncture the skin.”

If you are a New Patient, your very first appointment with us will be $50.00.

  • Naturopathic medicine is considered an holistic approach to healthcare combining modern treatment techniques with traditional protocols and methods. Naturopathy embraces the strength of Western science and the capacity of integrative and complimentary care modalities, to seek effective functional care for patients.

Think of this medical doctor and profession as a bridge or midline for the synergy of integrating healthcare models in the field of medicine.

Naturopathic Care enjoys a broad scope of practice.

An NMD is able to function as your Primary Care Physician (PCP).

If you are a New Patient, your very first naturopathic appointment with us will be $140.00.

We offer celebrated integrative care solutions through Acupuncture and Naturopathic Medicine (Temporarily Unavailable) and have been providing results-driven, affordable, preventative care to the Tucson community for over 20 years.

We consider ourselves your first line of defense through the provision of PREVENTATIVE CARE.

Preventative care means we move you, through treatment and shared understanding, into wellness and away from states of imbalance that can lead to the development of chronic conditions and dis-ease.

  • Our care should be one of your first stops. Our model of medicine seeks the root cause of your discomfort by addressing imbalances in your body, and your lifestyle. We work with you to correct and adjust those. By seeing us and becoming aware of imbalances, you are able to grow in your personal awareness.

Our techniques address imbalances in your body (and being) in effort to release and open pathways for your energy (lifeforce) to flow, and to invite healing and vitality into your experience. Stagnant flow in your energy doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with you. It is a natural by-product of life and can be the result of injury, stress, trauma, emotional strain, lifestyle habits, or any combination of these (they usually come as a combination).

Between treatments and lifestyle adjustments (this requires you to be a participant in your care), we utilize time honored techniques to invigorate balance in your life and to eliminate or adjust progress toward poor states of health. We want you healthy and balanced. From our perspective, when your lifestyle achieves balance, your potential to require more invasive care is lessened. This is our goal and it is what our care model is intended for.

We want to work with you and ideally PREVENT you from courting chronic or advanced forms of illness.

Working with us is a process. If you are experiencing an emergency, you should contact an appropriate emergency service or call 911.
