Accredited by the State of Arizona and ACAHM. Offered as a stand-alone certificate or as part of the Master’s in Acupuncture with Chinese Herbal Medicine (MAcCHM).

Program Overview

The Certificate in Chinese Herbal Medicine provides focused training in herbology for students who wish to deepen their knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine. This program is included within the full MAcCHM degree, but is also offered here as a stand-alone certificate.

Program Completion

Graduates will:

  • Gain a foundation in Chinese Materia Medica and the preparation of formulas
  • Be prepared to integrate herbal therapies into a broader Traditional Chinese Medicine practice
  • Have the option to pursue further study within the MAcCHM degree for expanded professional scope

Payment Information

  • Tuition, fees, assessments, and deposits must be paid at the time of registration or by the specified deadline approved by the ASAOM Governing Board.
  • Enrollment is not complete until tuition and fees are paid.
  • Non-payment beyond the first week may be grounds for dismissal (evaluated case by case).
  • Students receiving Title IV funds will follow a separate payment schedule, determined by hourly benchmarks set at the time financial aid is awarded.
