Program Overview
The Asian Medical Bodywork (AMB) program offers in-depth training in tuina — a therapeutic bodywork modality rooted in Chinese medicine. Students will learn techniques to stimulate energy flow, release stagnation, and support healing through the art of push (tui) and grasp (na).
This is a lineage program overseen by Tony Della Croce, LAc, a student and friend of the late Vince Black, founder of the North American Tang Shou Tao Association (NATSTA).

Curriculum Highlights
In the AMB program, students employ therapeutic techniques of Chinese medicinal bodywork and massage:
- Understanding meridian and energy flow
- Developing sensitivity to read and guide the body’s energy
- Using hands, fingers, and body techniques to restore Qi (energy) circulation
- Applying tuina to musculoskeletal conditions and a wide range of health concerns
Program Completion
Graduates will:
- Earn a master’s-level certificate in Asian Medical Bodywork
- Gain recognition by national and state bodies (ACAHM, AOBTA, State of Arizona)
- Build a foundation for professional practice in Chinese medicinal bodywork
- Enhance qualifications for integration with acupuncture, herbal therapy, and other healing modalities
