- Complete the ASAOM application
- Submit completed application form and the non-refundable $100 application fee.
- To complete the admissions file and be considered for a place in the next class, please include these supporting documents:
- Official transcripts from schools you have attended, mailed directly from the schools.
- Letters of reference from two professionals or business people, not members of your family, who know you well.
- A statement from a physician stating that you are in good health and physically able to enter your intended profession.
- A letter from an acupuncturist indicating that you have had a least two acupuncture sessions from him/her in the past year.
- A $100 registration fee, payable to the Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Add $50 processing fee for transfer students.
- A typed resume, outlining educational and professional development.
- A handwritten statement of at least 350 words giving:
- Your reasons for starting this course of study
- Proof of your understanding for the commitment of time, money and dedication needed to succeed as a graduate student of Acupuncture
- Your career plans
- Set an appointment for an interview with the Academic Dean. This may be done even if all supporting documents have not been turned in. Final acceptance depends on a review of a complete admissions file.
Enrollment and Orientation
Enrollment is completed at the orientation session, scheduled in the week before classes start, and includes registration for the first term. In addition, the orientation includes book sales, staff introductions, registration, payment of tuition and review of school policies and procedures. Applicants are contacted upon acceptance with enrollment date and time.
